Exam Calendar

The school conducts tests and examinations as recommended by the CBSE. There are four Formative Assessments and two Summative Assessments during the entire academic year which has been split into two terms.

Further monthly tests and class tests are conducted by teachers on a regular basis to monitor and evaluate the performance of students.

Scheme of examination & evaluation (I - XII)

There will be a formal examination / Summative Assessment at the end of every term. There will be Formative Assessments as indicated in the calendar. The average of the tests will be taken into consideration for the purpose of calculations. The weightage of Formative Assessments (FA) or Monthly Tests (MT) and Summative Assessments (SA) or Term Examination shall be as follows:


Assessment of Auxiliary Subjects shall be in grades. Letter grades on 5 point scale shall be used for subjects of internal examinations.

The award grades are as follows:

A+ - Outstanding / A – Excellent / B+ - Very Good / B – Good / C – Scope for improvement
